Quick and Easy 10 minute travel makeup
As I mentioned in my last post I’m currently traveling, and often when I’m traveling I don’t really have a lot of energy to do a full makeup look in the evening after a long day of doing things. So I thought I would show you how I do my makeup when I’m tired but still want to put a little bit of makeup on for going to dinner or something similar. It is a very basic and easy look that I put on in just 10 minutes. I hope you like it.
When I’m feeling tired after a long day of being outside, and especially if I’ve been in the sun ( my skin is very sensitive and I get a sunburn after 5 seconds ), I really don’t feel like wearing foundation. What I do instead is I use a powder foundation. It is super quick and easy to apply and it gives a very “natural” coverage and evens out the skin tone in a nice way. The one I use is called Duo Foundation in the shade “Copenhagen” from Make Up Store. So my best tip for when you’re feeling lazy : Powder foundation.
When I do very little makeup like this, it can look a bit extreme to have a strong lip color. What I like to do is take a liquid lipstick, and just apply a little bit in the center of the lip, and then rub it out with my finger. It gives a very natural finish on the lips. Why I like to use a liquid lipstick instead of a natural normal lipstick, is because when I’m traveling I try to bring as little makeup products as possible (so that it doesn’t take up too much space). And a liquid lipstick you can use in so many ways. If you decide to go all out with a dramatic look, or if you want to do a quick light look like this one, a liquid lipstick is perfect! The one I used in this makeup look was Matte Lip Liquid from The Body Shop.
During my time here in America I have done a bit of makeup shopping, hehe. Soon I will try the new products and make a blog post about it, so don’t forget to check in here again if you are interested in seeing that!
